Obituary of David Wendell Leavitt
David Wendell Leavitt of Saint John passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at his residence. David was born at Black’s Harbour on August 22, 1967. He is survived by his parents, Jean (Clem) of Saint John and Redmond (Barbara) of Back Bay; five sisters, Connie McVivar of Saint John, Eileen Shaw (Terry) of Letang, Kelly Childs (Colin Dodds) of Saint John, Judy Whipple (Stan) of Hamilton, Ontario, and Stacy Hanley (Darren) of Back Bay; two brothers, Darren Leavitt (Angela) of Black’s Harbour and Allison Leavitt (Carol) of St. George; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM; and at Full Gospel Assembly, Back Bay, on Friday from 11 AM until the time of the service, which will be held at 2:00 PM from the church. Interment will take place in the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances to the Arthritis Society or any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
