Obituary of Arthur H. Patton
Arthur Holmes Patton, died suddenly, at home on April 21, 2009. Arthur was born in Calgary, January 14, 1930. He lived and worked mainly in the west of Canada, making his home in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia for most of his life. In 2002, Arthur and his wife moved to New Brunswick. Living in the Saint John area was a wonderful experience. He took great pleasure in his new friends, the community, and golfing at the Riverside golf course. Arthur was the very much loved husband of Dora Nicinski and father of Sarah Patton of Vancouver, Justin Patton of London Ontario, Holmes Patton of Edmonton Alberta and Linda Saugstad of Burns Lake, BC. He will also be dearly missed by his son-in law Dr. Mark Vu, daughters-in-law Erin Huner and Diane Ho and his grandchildren Eamon and Gabriel Patton, baby Vu, Chrissie, and Pam and Wayne. Arthur taught us how to love with all our hearts. He gave us roots and wings to fly with his unwavering and unconditional love. Arthur lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed his days most when with the family and friends he loved. Arthur will be missed terribly but we know that we never have to look further than into our hearts to find him. For those who wish, a memorial donation can be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital.
