Obituary of Nancy Jean Ouellette

The sudden passing of Nancy Ouellette, in Saint John, occurred on Sunday, June 21, 2009. She was born on August 1, 1951 at Saint John to the late Kenneth and Eileen (Staddon) Wilson. Nancy worked as a waitress most of her life at various restaurants around the city. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Nancy is survived by her son Jon Paul “JP” (Jodie Bird) of Saint John; daughter, Diane Mitton (Curtis) of Kingston; brother, Paul Wilson “Bimbo” (Ann) of Kingston; three grandchildren: Conner, Alex and Susie; former husband, Morel Ouellette and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Nancy was predeceased by two brothers: Kenneth Jr. and Robert and three sisters: Gail and Susanne Asselstine and Noreen Wilson. Nancy will be sadly missed by all, including her companion, Chicko, her Chihuahua. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 11:30 am. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the I.W.K. Children’s Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
