I am so deeply saddened to hear about Hugh's passing. His wisdom, love, and magnanimity were unfailing sources of inspiration for all who knew him. Were it not for his counsel and support, I would not have been able to pursue the life-track I am now so fortunate to pursue, and it seems like only yesterday that I was calling him yet again for his advice about my doctoral studies down in Rhode Island. My deepest condolences to Millicent, Barbara, Ted, Peter, and their families. In deo speramus, Hugh.
