Obituary of Noel James Murphy

Sadly, we say goodbye to a friend, a father, a grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Noel James Fergus Murphy passed away peacefully and painlessly on September 6, 2018 at the age of 81. He was survived by his daughters: Debbie and Kym, his grandchildren: Lidree, Mitch and Sayuri, his great grandchildren: Tenchi and Kotori and sisters: Clair and Honor. His story began on January 3, 1937 in Dublin, Ireland. At the young age of 18, he set off to see and experience the world. And see it he did! Noel loved his life and lived it to its fullest. He enjoyed a long and successful career as a pilot in the Canadian Air Force and was an accomplished and travelled yachtsman. He will be greatly missed by his many friends, far and wide. Although he considered Nova Scotia and the LaHave River his home, his last months were spent happily surrounded by family and new found friends at Parkland Shannex in Saint John, NB.
