Obituary of Willard Orville Rollins

The death of Willard Orville Rollins, of Saint John, NB, husband of Mary Lou (Corey) Rollins, occurred on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Newcastle Bridge, NB, he was a son of the late Clarence and Hattie (McLellan) Rollins. Willard was employed with Levine Recycling for many years as a crane operator. Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Hayward (Pat) Rollins of Moncton, NB, David Rollins of Warkworth, ON, and Ron (Ann) Rollins of Surrey, BC; three sisters, Roberta Rice of Fredericton, NB, Marilyn (Walter) Rees of Saint John, NB, and Ruth (Marshall) Leavitt of St. George, NB; one brother, Terry (Ann) Rollins of Saint John, NB; two grandchildren, Tracie and Corey; one great-granddaughter, Carli, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by twin sons, Wayne and Wendel, sister Hilda Powell, two brothers, Paul and Howard Rollins. At Willard’s request there will be no visiting. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) at 1pm. Remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the NB Lung Association.
