Obituary of Charlotte Patricia Polley
Polley, Charlotte Patricia (Welton) BA, D.S.P., S-LP(C) … After a lengthy illness and surrounded by her loving family, Charlotte went home to the Lord on October 30, 2008. Born in Saint John on January 25th, 1953, she was the daughter of the late C. Wilmot and Jaunetta J. (Stuart) Welton. Charlotte graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1975 with a BA and University of Toronto in 1977 with a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathologist and was an active member of both the Canadian and New Brunswick Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists. She was active in her Community as well as Church and Charity events. Charlotte was a devoted wife and mother, loved to read, sew, and spend time with Family and friends. Besides her loving husband Ian, Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Jessica (Clifton) Richards of St. Andrews, NB and Vanessa Polley at home. A son, David Polley of Miramichi, NB. Three sisters, Sandra (Paul) Langlais of Saint John, Linda (Glen) Bamford of Rowley, NB and Kimberley (Louie) Doucet of Saint John. One brother, C. Wayne Welton of Quispamsis, NB. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Visiting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424, on Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Forest Hills Baptist Church on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Sean O’Rourke Project, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
