Obituary of Everett J. LeBlanc
The death of Everett J. LeBlanc of Saint John, NB, husband of the late, Sadie E. (Newell) LeBlanc, occurred on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born November 26, 1925 in Saint John, he was a son of the late, Fred and Elsie (DeForrest) LeBlanc. Everett was employed with Eastern Bakeries for 27 years and the Regional Hospital for eighteen years before his retirement Survived by his children; Gerald (Marilyn) of Saint John, Bonnie LeBlanc of Hamilton, ON and Darlene LeBlanc of Saint John; brothers, Fred “Junior” of Saint John, Roy of Moncton, NB and Arthur of Saint John; sisters, Roberta Vanstone (Gerry) of Fredericton, NB and Jean Norwood of Saint John; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Mary LeBlanc as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Sadie of 59 years, Everett is predeceased by his son, Everett “Eddie”; brothers, Albert and Gerald; sisters, Lena Connell and Irene Stackhouse and daughter-in-law, Christine Speight. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment to take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Liver Foundation. www.brenansfh.com
