Obituary of Janice A. Williams
WILLIAMS, Janice Anne It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Janice Anne Williams (MacFarlane) of Saint John on Tuesday, January 10th, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with her family by her side. Janice was born in Saint John on March 30, 1934. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she is survived by her husband Patrick, son Paul (Wendy), daughters Jane (Keith) Allan, Marion (Brian MacInnis), son Andy (Lisa Brideau), grandchildren Mark, Paul, John, and Luke Williams, Jason Allan, Becky Couillard, Sarah Cross, fourteen great-grandchildren, sister Diane (David) Flewelling, brother-in-law Walter (Jean) Williams, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Janice was pre-deceased by her parents Bob and Marion MacFarlane, sisters Joyce and June MacFarlane, Jane Doyle and Joan Tower. She was an active member of Main Street Baptist Church, and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John , (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held from Main Street Baptist Church on Friday at 3:00pm. Interment will take place at the Coles Island Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
