Obituary of Clara M. Connell
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Clara Mary Connell (Duguay) of Sussex, NB, the wife of the late Charles E. Connell, which occurred on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at her residence. Born on June 10, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Theophile and Lena (Robichaud) Duguay. Clara is survived by one daughter, Carol Ann Fullarton (Richard) of Saint John; one step-daughter, Patricia Woodhouse of England; one brother, Arthur Duguay (Wilda) of Chatham Head; three sisters, Joanne Young (Norman) of Newcastle, Patsy Brown (Gerry) of Nova Scotia, Alice Beaulieu of Moncton; two granddaughters, Clare Jennings (Chuck), Evelyn Hoyt (Rob Lantiegne); three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Stephanie and Maggie; two great-great grandchildren, Tianna and Billi; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by two brothers, Alexander and Joseph; four sisters, Matilda, Sylvia, Louza and Laura. To honour Clara’s request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at St. Peter’s Church at 1:30 pm. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424).
