Obituary of Geraldine S. Landry
Surrounded by her family the death of Geraldine Landry, wife of Alfred "Fred" Landry occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Saturday, December 31, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 10, 1957 in Rogersville to Edna (Arsenault) Richard and the late Henry Richard. Geraldine was a devoted wife and mother, caring deeply for her family. She was an avid crafter and loved to cook especially her famous meat pies. Besides her husband, Fred Geraldine is survived by her five daughters: Linda Melanson and Denise Comeau (Serge) of Saint John, Nancy Landry (Adam Williston) of Hamilton, ON, Andrea Landry (Frederick Quigley) of Neguac and Kathy Landry of Fredericton; nine grandchildren: Haly, Melanie, Derick, Vicky, Annick, Kayla, Tyson, Olivier and Ashley; three brothers; a sister and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, sister and first husband, David St. Coeur. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10 AM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
