Obituary of Ethel Margaret Larkin
Passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Wife of the late Raymond Larkin. Born in Milford, NB on April 4, 1913 she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Steeves) Stanley. She is survived by one niece, Debbie MacNeill (Gary) of Mispec, NB; one nephew, Don Stanley (Karen Duff) of Saint John; two great nieces, Brandy Stanley and Jessica Thomas (John Humble); two great-nephews, Brad Stanley and Travis (Karla) Thomas; two great-great nephews, Aiden and Dakota; five cousins, Clair Cooper, Agnes Daly, Gertrude Burnside, Harry Daly, Morris Daly and several other extended cousins. Predeceased by brothers, William, L. Joseph, Gordon, Charles and Lloyd Stanley. Ethel was well known for making pies and sweets for several family and friends. The family would like to extend their special thanks to Corrine and Pat and also the staff of 4BN of the Saint John Regional Hospital for their care and compassion. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm from Mispec Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances may be made to Mispec Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
