Predeceased by his brother Doug and lovingly remembered by his sister Babs (John) and brother Max. Born in Northern England, Alan was a veteran of WWII. His career with the bank took him to the Maritimes and then the Caribbean. In 1986 Alan retired as Managing Director of the Bank of Nova Scotia, International Division, in Nassau, Bahamas. His successful career with Scotiabank allowed Beryl and Alan to live an exceptional life. He adored his wife and two daughters.
