Obituary of Josephine C. Hartling
With her family and friends at her side, the death of Josephine Hartling wife of the late Orman Hartling, occurred on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Rocmaura Nursing Home in her 89th year. She was born on January 30, 1923 in Saint John to the late John and Edith (Pheeney) McNulty. Josephine was a lifelong member of Trinity Anglican Church and was involved in many church groups including the choir, Altar Guild, Young Women’s Guild and the food bank. Josephine is survived by her daughter, Wendy Bogle of Saint John; two sons, Orman (Linda) of Belleville, ON and Rick (Sharon)of Saint John; brother, Jack McNulty; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Edith Malley; sister, Dorothy Amos and two great grandchildren: Madison and Eric Grondine. Arrangements are under the care of at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). The funeral service will be held from Trinity Anglican Church, 115 Charlotte Street, Saint John on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
