Obituary of Leslie A. Phinney
PHINNEY, LESLIE (LES) A. Surrounded by family and friends on March 17, 2012, at the Saint John Regional Hospital Leslie (Les) A. Phinney, husband of Cynthia (Boye) Phinney passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Saint John on July 8, 1968 and was a son of Barb (Robinson) Phinney and the late Gordon Phinney. He was a life long resident of Saint John, educated in local schools and was a Automotive Technician by trade. He was a passionate car enthusiast. Les is survived by his wife, mother, four brothers; Phillip, LeRoy (Sharon), twin brother Steven (Brenda) and Jason Phinney; sister, Christina Phinney all of Quispamsis; many nieces nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 21st at 10:00 am at St. Mark’s Church, Pettingill Road, Quispamsis. Following the service a reception will be held at a location to be announced. Visiting hours Tuesday, March 20th 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
