On behalf of the Kennebecasis Rowing Club and the greater rowing community, I would like to pass along our sincere condolences at your time of loss. Over several decades, the Kennebecasis Rowing Club has provided hundreds of athletes and families the opportunity to come together in a spirit of teamwork, sport excellence, and camaraderie. All of this was made possible by the vision and leadership of the founding board members, including Bill. His contributions have had a tremendous impact on this community, and will never be forgotten.

Mike Gardiner posted a condolence
Very sorry to hear about Uncle Bill's passing and in the same year as his younger brother Ken. I remember your visits to Gateshead and Alnwick and your interest in the family tree. And the Renforth rowing regatta was a big story at home as Ken helped form a crew and brought them to St Johns We nearly emigrated to join you many years ago It was always a joy to meet you. And we have fond memories of your visits with your family over the years. Sleep peacefully now.

Peter, David and Andrew Edwards and families posted a condolence
Our sincere condolences on Bill's passing. Our dear mother Ellen, Bill's cousin and who herself passed away just a few months ago, had the fondest memories of growing up near him and was always delighted to see him on his visits back to the UK. We too had our own memories from over the years, notably through his family history interests, shared in fine detail with Kirstie, and through getting some insights into family affairs which were not always identical with our own! With best wishes Peter, David and Andrew Edwards and families

I'm sorry to be responding so late to Mr. Gardiner's passing, but I hadn't heard and just "Googled" him. He was a nice man and a good man. Bill, Pam and Graham, please accept my condolences on the loss of your Dad.
