Obituary of Judith Ann Chatterton
With great sadness we announce the passing of Judith "Judy" Ann Chatterton of East Saint John on February 7, 2011. She was a companion of Robert Gallant. Born on February 14, 1942, she was a daughter of Ruth Darmos and adopted by the late Ruby and Thomas Dean. Judy graduated as an RNA and worked at the General Hospital as well as various nursing homes in the Saint John Area. She enjoyed her trailer and friends at Hardings Point Camp Ground. Besides her mother and her companion, she is survived by her dear mother-in-law, Mildred Chatterton; daughter, Cheryl Sypher, Saint John; sons, Thomas (Laverna) Chatterton and Jeffery (Brenda) Chatterton, both of Bains Corner; grandchildren, Katlyn, Thomas, Zach, Alyssa, Erica, Rachel; special great-granddaughter, Peyton; special sister-in-law, Patricia (Bob); brother-in-law, Calvin (Myrna); half brothers, Mark and Paul; half sister, Kathy; step-children, Elwood and Donna, and their children, Hailey and Fia; several nieces and nephews. Besides her adopted parents, Judy was predeceased by the father of her children, Ralph Chatterton; brothers, Ralph, Raymond, Douglas, Donald, and Thomas; sister, Thelma; half brother, Stephen. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, February 11, 2011, at 12 noon. Remembrances may be made to Animal Rescue League or to Park Avenue United Church.
