Obituary of Julia Ardeth Marshall
It is with deep regret that the family of Julia Marshall announce the death of our precious mother and grandmother. She passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home. Julia was born January 4, 1919 at Saint John to the late Charles and Ethel (Stultz) Logan. Julia loved animals, loved to garden, but above all she loved all her family. She is survived by four sons: Charles (Mimi) of Wells, Roy, Robert (Valerie) and Michael all of Saint John; three daughters: Ardith Bartlett, Betty Robin and Judy Greenlaw (Kevin Reick) all of Saint John; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Louise Doiron; several nieces and nephews. Julia was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by her husband, LeRoy Marshall, parents, brothers, Carl Logan and Walter Neal. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) visiting on Saturday and Sunday February 18 and 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 4:00 pm. Interment will take place in Loyalist Cemetery, Hardings Point in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
