Obituary of Norma Muriel Lynch
Norma Muriel Lynch (December 7, 1933 – May 19, 2011) passed away early Thursday at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the youngest daughter of deceased parents David Neville Lynch and Nina Matilda (Vincent). She was predeceased also by brothers George Gilbert Lynch, David Ronald (Mary) Lynch, Alfred Neville (Bernice) Lynch and sisters Gertrude Lillian (Brown) and Genevieve Kathleen (Tracey). She is survived by brother James Lynch (Joan) of Dartmouth, NS. Norma will be sadly missed by nephews and nieces, Norma Mele (John) of Tennessee, USA; Michael Lynch of British Columbia; Leonard Lynch (Donna) of Douglas, NB; Paul Lynch (Eydie) of Fredericton, NB; Diana (Normand) and Donna and Brian (Elizabeth); Neville (Vanessa), all of Saint John, NB. Dennis (Bernice) Tracey of Alberta, Robert (Heather) Lynch, Kelley Lynch, Terri Lynch all of Halifax Regional Municipality. Dale (Renata) Lynch of Toronto. Norma made many friends over her lifetime. Those who met her while she worked for the CIBC well knew the dedication loyalty and care she showed both the bank and its customers. She never wavered from her commitments to God and her church and she would always stand up for her Montreal Canadians and conservative beliefs. She was a member of the Irish Canadian Cultural Association. She will be missed. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, 2-4 pm and Monday 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from St. Peter’s Church, Clarendon Street at 11 am. Following the mass there will be a reception held at the church hall. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances may be made to any charity of the donors choice, would be appreciated by the family.
