Obituary of Mary A'denise MacKay
Mary A’denise (Thuillier) MacKay fought all the way before going to the pearly gates while at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Sunday, August 14, 2011. Born on November 27, 1920 in Inverness, Cape Breton. She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm Dan MacKay who died on August 14, 1995. Mary enjoyed teaching Sunday School, cooking, sewing, reading and helping those who were in need or less fortunate. She is survived by her children, Norm MacKay of New York, USA; David MacKay and wife Connie of Saint John and Louise (MacKay) and husband Pius Synard of Prince George, BC; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. A small graveside committal service will be held at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
