Obituary of Bernard Joseph Gallant
Bernard J. Gallant passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, February 4, 2011. He was born on May 28, 1957 and was the son of Aline (Richard) Gallant and the late Hubert Gallant. Bernard was a happy go lucky man, who always had a smile. He made friends wherever he went, was a great friend to all he knew. Bernard was a "jack of all trades" who enjoyed spending time camping, four wheeling and fishing. He also enjoyed a coffee at Tim Horton’s. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Linda (Myers) Gallant; brothers, Sylvain (Ann Marie) Saint John; Leo Paul, Saint Charles, NB; sisters, Jeannette, Saint John; Julie Anne (Joseph) Hebert, Saint Charles, NB, and Margaret (Randy) McLaughlin, Rothesay; mother-in-law, Dorothy Jean Myers, (father-in-law, the late James Harold Myers); sister-in-law, Brenda Lee (Yvon) Gauvin; niece, Rhonda Paley and her sons Cameron and Joey Paley; uncles, Wayne Louis Myers; Joseph Thomas Myers; aunt, Sandra Joan (Myers) LeBlanc; nieces, Jacqueline Stevens, Angela Siddail, Jessica Hebert, Jillian Hebert, Katie McLaughlin; nephews, Andrew McLaughlin, Joey Hebert, Trevor Gallant; god-parents, Anita and Desi LeBlanc and dear friends, Patricia and Armand Brideau, Joan and Doug Wilson, Peggy and the late Steve DeFazio; also survived by several aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, February 7, 7-9 PM and Tuesday, February 8, 2-4, 7-9 PM Funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, February 9, at 2:00 PM.
