Obituary of Deborah Carol Colwell
Surrounded by her family at her residence on March 14, 2012 Deborah (Debbie) Colwell of Saint John passed away at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. She was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Walter & Helen (Levigne) Colwell. Debbie was a life long resident of Saint John , educated in local schools and was last employed at Neilson’s Clearing House and was an ardent Elvis fan. Debbie is survived by two sisters, Linda Desprese (Romero) of Saint John East and Judy Desprese (Louis) of Saint John North; four brothers, Ken Colwell (Judy) of Saint John North, Richard Colwell of Toronto, ON, Edward Colwell (Sheila) of Bathurst, NB and George Hammond (Colleen) of the Dominican Republic. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday March19,2012 at 10:00am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.brenansfh.com.
