Obituary of Constance Theresa Marino
It is with sadness that the family of Constance (Connie) Marino, devoted wife of the late Anthony (Tony) Marino (May 2010), announce her passing on Thursday, October 6th, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John, May 18th, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (nee Tobias) Gabriel. Connie had last worked at Shoppers Drug Mart, Loch Lomond Mall. Her family, friends and visits to McAllister Mall meant everything to her. In recent months, Connie had resided at the Loch Lomond Villa and considered fellow residents and caregivers her extended family. She is survived by her sons Joseph (Bonnie) and Bob Marino (Jan Davis); her brothers Joseph (Jean) and Charles (Patricia) Gabriel; sisters Muriel Tobias and Lorraine Wisted (Leo); granddaughters Christie, Jennifer and Kelly Marino, Lori Foley (Jason); great-grandchildren Jacqueline, Josh and Camden; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Connie was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Cynthia Marino and her infant sisters Fay, Ruth and Ann. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visitation on Sunday, October 9th, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim’s Church, 603 Loch Lomond Road, on Monday, October 10th, 2011 at 11 AM.
