Obituary of Olive Annie Walsh
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Olive Annie Walsh of Saint John, wife of the late Gordon Walsh, which occurred on Sunday, January 8, 2012 after a brief illness at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Saint John on September 13, 1912, she was a daughter of the late James and Beulah (Appleby) Kincade. Olive was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Olive is survived by her children, Murray (Barb) Walsh of Grand Barachois, NB; Irene (Daryl) Sutton of Rothesay, NB; Linda Walsh of Moncton, NB and Pamela (Randy Canning) Walsh of Riverview, NB; eight grandchildren, Kelly Dickinson John, Angela and Mathew Sutton, John and Andrew Hartley, Rebecca and Richard Canning; seven great-grandchildren, Alanna, Corey, Luke, Dylan, Cain, Blake and William; one brother, Murray Kincade of Saint John; two sisters, Beulah (Alex) Lamb of Saint John and Myrna (John) Lock of Kincardine, ON; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband, three brothers, James, John and Beverley Kincade; one sister, Velma Hughes. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
