Obituary of Shirley Agnes Winchester
Peacefully, the death of Agnes Winchester occurred at the Kennebec Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, December 19, 2010. She was born on February 18, 1915 at Bouctouche to the late Joseph and Lorette (Bastarache) Arsenault. Agnes worked for the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital and the Royal Hotel. She is survived by nephew, Earl Arsenault (Carol); nieces: Jeanette Hamm, Rita Meehan, and Annette Cormier of Bouctouche; sister-in-law, Rita Arsenault of Bouctouche and several more nieces and nephews from Bouctouche. Besides her parents, Agnes was predeceased by two brothers: Leonard and George; three sisters: Sarah, Aurelia and Elizabeth; sister-in-law, Violet and nephew, Leonard Jr. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 12:05 PM. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
