Obituary of Dorothy Margaret Cole
Surrounded by her family, the death of Dorothy Cole, wife of the late William Cole occurred on Monday, December 13, 2010 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre. She was born on August 11, 1916 at New Ross, NS to the late Robert “Roy” and Harriet (Lowe) Daniel. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother; she dedicated her life to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Evans (Thomas) of Rothesay; sister, Mary Daniel of Musquash; two grandchildren: Tracy Boyce (William) and Leslie Hagerman (Stephen); five great grandchildren: Megan and Matthew Hagerman and Adam, Christopher and Joseph Boyce and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Dorothy was predeceased by a son, W. Fraser Cole; two brothers: St. Clair and Charles and two sisters Helen and Bertha. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). At Dorothy’s request the visitation and funeral service will be private. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
