Obituary of Margaret Rose Seale
It is with heavy hearts, and gratitude for a life time of memories, that the family of Margaret Rose Seale (née Simms) announces her passing, which occurred on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at her residence. Born in Digby, NS on August 6, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Myrtle (Miller) Simms.
Margaret was an avid bowler and card player. In her quiet time she enjoyed reading but most of all enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table visiting with friends.
Margaret will be missed by her daughters: Sherry Seale (Wayne Funk) and Norma Holmes; grandchildren, Jasmine Seale-Funk, and Mareza Seale-Funk; two sisters, Muriel Holmes and Jean Miller; many nieces and nephews; as well as several close friends. In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her siblings: Evelyn, Vernon, Vincent and Harold.
Margaret is resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 12:00 pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
"Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go."
- Jamie Anderson
