Obituary of Charles Gerald Munroe
The death of Charles Gerald Munroe of Saint John, NB, husband of Yvonne (Hunsburger) (Mosher) Munroe, occurred on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Ridgewood Veterans Wing. Born at Cape Breton, NS, he was a son of the late John and Effie (Martin) Munroe. Charles had served from 1951 to 1981 with the Canadian Armed Forces. Besides his wife Yvonne he was survived by five step-children: Wayne Mosher of Saint John, NB, Deborah Prosser (Maurice) of Sussex, NB, Kevin Mosher (Joanne) of Burton, NB, Gary Mosher (Connie) of Saint John, NB, Jeffrey Mosher (Jane) of Angus, ON; two sisters: Phyllis Ross (Morris) of Cape Breton, NS, and Beryl Doll (Ken) of Courtenay, BC; two brothers: John Munroe of Coquitlam, BC, and Robert Munroe (Carol) of Flower Mound, TX; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from First Pentecostal Church, 61 Mark Drive, Saint John, NB, on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Alma United Cemetery at a later date.
