In his spare time, Baden enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and spent summers at the family homestead in Kedgwick River; but his greatest enjoyment in life was his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye. In addition to his wife of 58 years, Baden is survived by his children, Faith Searle (Lindsey) of Kedgwick River, Baden Wyers Jr. (Barb) of Hampton, Marion McNamee of Bayswater, and Sally Wyers (Raymond Riley) of Saint John; grandchildren Mark Searle (Diana), Lisa LeBlanc (Phil), Jillian Smith (Scott), Courtenay MacDonald, Morgan MacDonald, Colin MacDonald, Crystal Herrington (Barry), and Karen Somerville (Terry); eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Baden was predeceased by a brother, Allie Wyers.
