Born in Saint John on June 23, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Kathleen (Lynch) Gallagher. Evelyn was a long standing member of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Eric Bland; sisters, Cecilia and Margaret; brother, Arthur; son-in-law, Peter Raymond. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim’s Church, 603 Loch Lomond Road, Saint John on Friday, February, 18, 2011 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
