Obituary of Sarah Connell
With great sadness the family of Sarah Connell announce her unexpected death which occurred on Sunday, May 1, 2011. She was born on March 9, 1992 in Saint John to Carol Connell and the late Donald Hanley. Sarah graduated from St. Malachy’s High School in 2010. She was loving and caring daughter and sister; Sarah will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Besides her mother, Sarah is survived by sisters: Carolyn Connell–Kernighan (Jason) their children: Katlyn and Ryan and Amanda Connell (Kenny) their children: Lillian and Cole; one brother, Donny Wilkins his children: Emily and Kyran; grandfather, Ronald Connell; aunts and uncles: Robert Connell (June), William Connell (Sharon), Deborah McGaghey, Brenda Arseneault (Paul); John Connell (Laura) and Elizabeth Garland (Edward); Fred Hanley Jr. (Wanda), Rev. Vincent Hanley (Mary), Larry Hanley (Carol), Ernie Hanley, Geraldine Patterson (Fred), Linda Barwell (Victor), Josephine Patterson (Wesley), Leona MacDonald (Burton), Iona Thompson, Dora McCurdy (Alex) and Judy Hanley (Phil Arsenau) and Melva Parker (Glen); long time best friends: Jennifer Brown, Stephanie O’Brien and Candice Doucette and several cousins. She was predeceased by her father and grandmothers: Bessie and Frances. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
