Obituary of Theresa Ann Lafford
Theresa Ann Lafford of Saint John, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on March 15, 2011 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Maine on July 18, 1948 she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Jane (Levy) Francis. Theresa was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, Saint John and took an active part in Prime Time. She worked as a home care provider, working with seniors and children. Theresa is survived by her children, Jarvis, Big Cove; Michael, Saint John; Tanya, Big Cove; Mary Jane "MJ", Fredericton and Vance, Saint John, Missy, Kingston ON; several grandchildren, one great grand daughter; sisters, Loretta, Quispamsis; Patricia, Big Cove; Barb, Hampton and Ann, Saint John; brothers, Arnold, Big Cove; Eddy, Bouctouche and Joey, Big Cove; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Rocky. Resting at Main Street Bapist Chruch , 211 Main Street, Saint John, with visiting on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 2-4, 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Main Street Baptist Church on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 12 noon. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
