Obituary of William Carl Hoyt
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at his residence. Loving husband of Claudia (Manuel) Hoyt. Born in Saint John on July 11, 1943 he was a son of the late William and Juanita (Stevens) Hoyt and lived the majority of his young life with the late Margaret and Lloyd Hudlin of whom he also called mom and dad. William loved to go fishing, hunting and camping. He is survived by his two daughters, Clare (Charles) Jennings of Sussex, NB and Evelyn (Rob) Lanteigne of Saint John; step-daughter, Vanessa (Jim Gallant) Preshyon of Saint John; three grandchildren, Maggie, Tyler, Stephanie and one great-granddaughter, Tianna who were the apple of his eye. William is also survived by two brothers, David and Gordon; two sisters, Shirley and Dianne; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of whom he always called Jimmy or Dear. In keeping with William’s wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or donor’s Choice.
