Obituary of Gordon William Lloyd
Gordon William Lloyd, husband of Theresa (Armstrong) Lloyd, passed away on March 16, 2012, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, following a brief battle with cancer. Born in Saint John on October 29, 1954, he was the eldest son of the late Joy (Cummings) Lloyd. Gordon loved being at sea; he worked for Atlantic Towing, then Abe Levine’s, and then back to the Canadian Coast Guard. In addition to his wife, Gordon is survived by his children Iris Elaine and Jerret William, sisters Sharon Teare. Ruth Watson, Marlene Cummings, Charlene and Kathy Lloyd, brothers John, Michael, Thomas and David Lloyd, aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews, as well as sisters-in-law Candace Armstrong and Sharon VanWart. Besides his mother he was predeceased by one brother, Keith. Our thanks go out to the Drs. And staff of 4C North; these people took great care of Gordon. Also, thanks go to special friends Luke, Stewart, Arnold, Randy and Gerald; he really enjoyed your friendship. In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, no funeral services will be observed. For those who wish, remembrances to Extra Mural, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Online condolences and remembrances may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
