Obituary of Ronald Victor Parlee
The death of Ronald Victor Parlee of Saint John, NB, occurred on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at his residence. Born in Saint John on September 4, 1913 he was a son of the late Victor and Gertrude (McAdoo) Parlee. Ronald worked as a Clerk Accountant for Universal Sales Ltd retiring in 1980. He was a veteran of World War II as a R.C.C P.C. Ronald was a member of the Carleton Curling Club. He is survived by his caregiver, Cheryl (Gordie) McMillan; several nieces and nephews. Ron was the last surviving member of his immediate family, and was predeceased by his first wife, Ada Parlee and his second wife, Doris Parlee, his daughter and son-in-law, Sherrill (Robin) Jones of Mississauga, ON; one sister, Thelma Peacock. Special thank you to all of his loving and devoted caregivers. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 10:00 am. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
