Obituary of Judith Ann Dunnington
After a courageous battle with cancer, the death of Judith Ann "Judy" (Kiervin) Dunnington, wife of Robert "Bob" Dunnington occurred on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 6, 1956 in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Dora (Byers) Kiervin. Judy was employed with Irving in the projects and controls department. She was a member of St. Peters Church and Royal Canadian Legion #2, also enjoyed golf, skiing, trailering, reading, knitting, and travelling. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, David Kiervin (Lana), Elizabeth "Sis" Brown (Kevin) both of Saint John, Paul Kiervin (Murielle) of Calgary, Kenny Kiervin (Nancy) and Clair "Pee Wee" Gautreau (Larry) both of Saint John; mother-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Dunnignton, Judy’s brothers and sisters-in-law; aunts and uncles, several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her family, many friends and colleagues. Besides her parents she was predeceased by father-in-law, George G. Dunnington. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peters Church on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Kidney Foundation – NB, the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Palliative Care Unit Saint John Regional Hospital.
