Obituary of Doreen Mae Lawton
It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Doreen Mae Lawton (nee Judge) wife of the late Russell W. Lawton announces her passing on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Loch Lomond Villa surrounded by family. Born on March 30, 1926 in Saint John, NB she was a daughter of the late Morris and Sadie (Mosher) Judge. Doreen is survived by her daughters, Gail (John) Lowe of Saint John and Marilyn (Peter) Cox of Grand Bay-Westfield; son, R. Wayne Lawton of Grand Bay-Westfield; six grandchildren, John (Lisa) Lowe of Saint John; Bernadette (Rob) Hefler of Saint John; Peter Cox of Grand Bay-Westfield; Douglas (Florida) Lowe of Cambridge ON; Jillian (Mike) Trecartin of Edmonton, AB and Lydia-Ann (Drew) Smith of Good Soil, SK; nine great-grandchildren, James, Catherine, Zackary, Caitlin, Taylor, Nathan, Joshua, Josie and Olivia; two great-great-granddaughters, Gabrielle and Lily-Anne; two brothers, Robert and Clinton (Bud) and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Izora, Mary, Francis, Salome, Celia, Lorraine and a brother, Harry (Judd). The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Loch Lomond Villa for their care and compassion. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to Tabernacle Baptist church, Parkinson Society or donor’s choice.
