Obituary of Alfred Joseph Fougère
Alfred Joseph Fougère of Willow Grove, husband of Susan (Smith) Fougère, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Haute Aboujagane, NB on September 20, 1956, he was a son of the late Gerard and Celestina (Boudreau) Fougère. Alfred worked as a welder for Saint John Shipbuilding and Larry’s Welding. In his spare time, Alfred enjoyed working around his garage at home with his grandson, Wyatt. In addition to his wife, Alfred is survived by a son, Todd Fougère (Laura) of Pennfield; a daughter, Tina Saulnier (Francis) of Moncton; a grandson, Wyatt; a sister, Lorraine LeBlanc (Louis Philippe) of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Alfred was predeceased by a brother, Eloi Fougère. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date.
