Obituary of Stephanie Mary Reid
It is with heavy hearts the family of Stephanie Mary Reid announce her passing on December 28, 2018 at Bobby’s Hospice. Stephanie is the daughter of the late Leo Francis and Kathleen (Maguire) Dawson.
Stephanie had a keen interest in genealogy, she enjoyed many road trips with her grandson and spending time at the cottage. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching black & white movies and doing crossword puzzles, her favorite pastime was scratching lotto tickets and eating ice cream.
Stephanie is survived by her sons: Gordon (Brenda) Reid and Mark Reid; daughters: Sheila (John) Coulton, Kathleen Cormier (Sid Cranston) and Heather Reid; her brother: Bill Brenan; grandchildren: Caissie, Emilie, Robert, Mark Jr, Thane (Angela), Melissa Sue, Katlyn (Dave), Whitney, Jennifer (Allen), Jonathan, Kelly, Danielle, Michael, and Katie; as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson Jamie.
Stephanie’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of 5C South at the Saint John Regional Hospital and Bobby’s Hospice for their generous care and compassion.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home (634-7424) where a visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 1 from 6 - 8 pm Wednesday, January 2, from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, January 3, in Brenan’s Chapel at 11AM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice, Romero House or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. www.BrenansFH.com
