Obituary of Pauline Victoria Legassick

Pauline Victoria Legassick, formerly of Saint John, wife of the late Rev. Kenneth Legassick, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre, Hampton. Born in Hampton on October 29, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Addison and Rilla (Thorne) Seely. After raising her family, Pauline worked as a secretary, mostly for the School Board at Prince Charles School. She was a member of the Anglican Church Women and enjoyed knitting, and was very sociable, enjoying the company of other people. Pauline is survived by her children, David Legassick of Willow Grove, Stephen Legassick (Mary Jane) of Ottawa, Ontario, and Anne MacEacheron (Ian) of McLeod Hill, NB; grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Julia, and Kathleen Legassick, and Allison and Carly MacEacheron; brothers Delbert Seely (Phyllis) of Saint John and Albert "Bert" Seely (Marjorie) of Rothesay; and several nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by an infant daughter, Janet Lynn in 1957; and by brothers Jack and Charles Seely. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Hampton, at a later date.
