Obituary of Margaret Louise Harper
Margaret Harper passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home. She was born on July 5, 1914 in Fredericton to the late James and Ada (Currie) Stickney. She was predeceased by her husband, George Harper; daughter, Shirley Moore and four sisters, one brother and one granddaughter. Margaret was a member of St. Luke’s Church for 92 years, the Thistle Curling Club and Swingers Senior Bowling League. She is survived by her daughters: Leotta Almon (Harold predeceased) and Lois Urquhart (Gary); son-in-law, Donald Moore; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances to St. Luke’s Church, Bobby’s Hospice or the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home would be appreciated by the family.
