Obituary of Joanne Lorraine Charlton

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joanne Lorraine Charlton announces her passing, which occurred on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John on December 15, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Doris Nickerson. Joanne will be dearly missed by her daughters: Leanne and Lori Charlton; grandchildren, Cody, Alexis, Chad and Josh; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Joan Spencer; goddaughters, Becky and Jessica; close family friend, Tyler McAndrew; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Joanne was predeceased by two brothers, Budd and Robert Nickerson. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Joanne’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation or Bobby’s Hospice.
