Obituary of Carl Vaughan Crozier
With great sadness the family of Carl Crozier, announces his passing on Thursday, August 8, 2013 surrounded by loving family. He was born in Saint John on July 6th, 1941. Carl was the beloved son of Ina (Scovil) McInerney and the late William Crozier. Carl is survived by his children, Randy (Paula) of Compton, QC and Karen Sizemore (Larry) of Sebago, ME; their mother and Carl's best friend, Mona Thomas (Bill) of Rothesay; grandchildren: Ryan Crozier, Brittany Crozier-Crooker (Chadwick), Hannah Crozier; two great-grandchildren: Lexie and Kylie Crooker; sister, Connie Friars (the late Bernard) of Sussex and brother James Crozier (Ann) of Saint John; several nieces and nephews and close friend, Bob Taylor. Carl, who had a passion for all cars especially classics, owned and operated Coastal Taxi for many years. He was an exceptional business man who was known for his kindness and generosity especially towards his deeply loved children and grandchildren. He will be loved and sadly missed. Carl's family wishes to express their profound gratitude to Sue Cole, NP and the staff of the Loch Lomond Village & Villa for the outstanding care and consideration they extended to him over the years. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm, with family receiving friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
