Dear Nora & Family, We were saddened to learn of your mothers passing and extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences for your loss. Bernie would see her almost daily uptown and, once in a while, enjoy a lovely chat with her. She was an inspiring woman and most gracious. Our caring thoughts and prayers are with you all, as you reflect on her life and many contributions. Most sincerely,

I was saddened to hear of Marion's passing. She attended my yoga classes at Shannex and brought with her such a positive attitude and vibrant smile. Marion never left a yoga class without thanking me and saying what a wonderful class she had. I will certainly miss her presence at yoga. I was quite surprised to find out Marion's age - she had such a young spirit and never let age get in the way of trying something new. May you all find comfort in knowing your mom left a beautiful legacy and lasting impressions. Blessings, Cheryl Kennedy

What a wonderful lady your mother was! She had a spirit that shone through her eyes every time she spoke. Her laugh was contagious. I remember her best from bible studies and discussions. She would ask to stop at certain points of the program to see or hear something again that struck a chord with her. She was so full of curiosity and I can't help but smile, thinking that she is now delighting in the answers even more than she did the questions. She will certainly be missed by Neil and I and our thoughts are with you all from here in Florida.

Nora, I heard from Ruth about your mom and was sad, knowing how much you will miss her. Rob and I were up to the Belleisle a couple of weeks ago and parked at the farm and walked Ellie along the river. I was thinking of all the great times you have had there with your mom and hoped that she would see another summer there. You have all those great memories and she will be there with you in spirit as you make new memories together. Sending a hug to you,

We were saddened to hear of Marions passing. Being neighbours for many years it was a delight to know her. Her warm smile, twinkling eyes and quiet ways touched all who knew her. Always more willing to listen than to speak and taking an interest in others lives. It was an added joy to share our faith when she would join us at Stone church retreats. The world is a better place as a result of her, an inspiration of a life well lived in many activities and in service to her Lord. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, may you be comforted in the wonderful memories you have and may her legacy live on. AntheaKLD53v and Brian Earle

Dear Mary Jane, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I have always thought your Mom was terrific. She was so kind and welcoming to us as teenagers and I always thought she was so much fun. When she encouraged us all to go skinny dipping up at the farm and told us about hitchhiking across the country, I thought you had the coolest Mother. I know it is sad for you and your family. Please accept and pass on to Malcom, Bruce and Nora my most sincere condolences. I wish you all the very best and hope that this time is one of love for each other and gratitude for all the years you had with Marion. Sincerely, Jane

My sincere condolences to Marion's family on the loss of your mother. I had met her several times over the years through family connections (my parents, Carolyn and Grant Watson, as well as my aunt & uncle, Betty & Don Estabrooks, knew your parents); but I got to know Marion later on through CFUW. Her warmth, intelligence, and graciousness left a deep impression on me. She was a special person to many.
