Obituary of Barbara Theresa Rottgers

Barbara Rottgers, wife of the late Helmut Rottgers, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born in Saint John on June 7, 1939, she was a daughter of the late William and Sadie (Osborne) McKinney. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by a nephew, Luke James McKinney, great-nieces Melissa McKinney-Thompson and Misty McKinney, and a great-nephew, Blake James McKinney-Thompson. In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was pre-deceased by her brother, Jim. Although there will be no visitation, friends are invited to attend the graveside funeral service, which will be held on Wednesday, November 21st, at 11:00am, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
