Obituary of Clive Vernon Ketch
Clive Vernon Ketch of Saint John passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Clive was born in Beaconsfield, NB on April 29, 1931, the son of the late Gordon and Dorothy (Whipple) Ketch. Clive worked for 35 years for the Canadian Pacific Railroad, and was a member of St. Jude’s Anglican Church, Saint John West. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret (Hughes) Ketch; three children, Linda Peacock (Rick) of Westfield, Kathy Paul (Ricky) , and Mark Ketch (Darlene) both of Saint John; seven grandchildren, Brian (Jaime), Kurt (Carla), Mark (Tricia), Jennifer (Scott), Vanessa (Jeff), Christopher (Laura) and Melissa (Jason); nine great grandchildren, Steven, Ella, Scott, Kate, Ava, Carter, Alex, Cassidy and Jayla; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Clive was predeceased by two brothers, Fred and Aurelle, and two sisters, Connie and Ruth MacIntyre. In keeping with Clive’s wishes, all funeral services will be held privately. For those who wish, remembrances to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
