Obituary of Eva Elva Cross

Eva Elva Cross, wife of the late Arnold Cross, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2012 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Hampton, NB on March 25, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Heber and Catherine (Thorne) Nolan. Eva is survived by her step-mother Nettie Nolan; her sons: Arnold Cross (Debbie) of Barrie, ON; and William Cross (Rita) of Calgary, AB; brothers; Walter Nolan, Douglas Nolan and Terry Nolan (Barb); sisters; Betty Pendleton, Phyllis McCaustlin, and Carol McKay (Edward); eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Eva was predeceased by her brothers; Roy, Lee, Harold, and Murray Nolan. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 3-6pm. The Funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 12pm. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
