Obituary of Dorothy Theresa Perry
Surrounded by her family the death of Dot Perry occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 28, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born on November 12, 1943 in Saint John to the late David and Mary (Arseneau) Creamer. Dot worked for many years as a taxi dispatcher mainly for Coastal Taxi. Her hobbies included playing cards, including cribbage; bingo, TV bingo and bowling. She is survived by her sons: Doug Estabrooks (Gloria) and Thomas Estabrooks (Rose); daughters: Deanna Estabrooks (Mike Simoneau) and Theresa Cheverie (the late Sean deMelo); brothers: Bob, Donnie (Gloria), Ralph and Tommy (Carol); sister, Jean Nichols (Peter); grandchildren: Crystal (Joel), Christina, Ricky, Billy, Olivia, Julia, Tanya and Richard; great-grandchildren, Tyson, Dylan and Joshua; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Agnes, Al, Sandra and Lillian as well as many other good friends. Dot was predeceased by her parents, first husband, Robert Estabrooks Sr.; second husband, Douglas Perry; brothers, Buddy, Gordie and Norman; sister, Erma Creamer and infant sisters: Mary Francis and Mary Genevieve. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Romero House or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
