Obituary of Mary Jacqueline Dubee
The unexpected death of Jackie Dubee, wife of James "Jim" Dubee occurred at her cottage on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She was born on June 2, 1943 in Saint John to the late George and Mildred (Northrup) Walls. Jackie was a loving wife, mother and nana; dedicating her life to her family. She was a member of Silver Falls United Church, United Church Women and taught Sunday School. Jackie was a life member of the Girl Guides of Canada; she was a guider, trainer, commissioner, camp adviser and a member of the Trefoil Guild. Many girls enjoyed camp with her on the Bellisle. Besides her husband of over 50 years Jim; Jackie is survived by her daughters: Catherine Dubee of Rothesay and Michelle Carroll (Carvell) of Saint John; grandchildren: Sarah and Adam, step-grandchildren: Christine and Amanda; step-great-grandson, Bryce; brother-in-law, Greg Dubee (Glenna) and several nieces and nephews including: Paula, Andrea and Matthew. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Dewitt; brother, Les Walls and nephews: Jeffrey and Michael Dubee. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Silver Falls United Church would be appreciated by the family.
