I am so sad to read of Sister Arleens passing. I met her when I worked for Mental Health; having referred clients struggling with addiction to Sophia House. This program, with its welcoming and no judging approach is wonderful. Sister Arleen was truly sent from God to do this work. A sad loss for this community. Sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Saying goodbye is never easy, especially to a person who impacted so profoundly the lives of all she met. As has been said, "kind, caring, noble, sweet, patient", only a few of the many words that describes a woman whose very presence was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing or having just met her. Sister Arleen truly made a difference in the lives she touched and lived her legacy. I thank God for having known her for just a few years and am grateful for the lives of all Sisters of Charity who work in anonymity to support our Greater Saint John Community.
